Project Coordinator (Fixed Term Contract)
What role will you play?
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team for a six (6) month period. You will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and completion of renewable energy projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to impactful projects that will shape the future of energy in Australia.
As Project Coordinator, you will assist the Projects Business Unit in organising our ongoing projects as a portfolio. Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will have a hands-on and flexible approach and be responsible for monitoring project plans, project reporting, organising and managing key project meetings, and assisting the team to ensure that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
What you offer
- Demonstrated experience in a similar administration role within similar project-based or operationally-focused organisations, ideally with large scale infrastructure projects
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage across multiple tasks and remain detail orientated whilst working in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, proactive attitude and enjoy working independently and as part of a diverse team
- Experience preparing project reports, documenting and tracking actions and decisions from key forums
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate information between project stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, and external partners
- Preparing agendas, pre-reading material and presentations for team forums
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Administrative support expertise, with Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- A relevant professional qualification
