What role will you play?

As Project Developer, you will manage development activities for Aula Energy’s portfolio of development projects. Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will have a hands-on and flexible approach to achievement of shared targets and be primarily responsible for delivery of projects from inception onwards. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively to deliver results as part of a team.

What you offer

• Experience as a Project Developer with a demonstrated track record of successful project management of all land, environmental, permitting, stakeholder management, resource assessment, initial engineering and grid connection activities of renewable projects up to the point of financial close

• Five to seven years’ of hands-on experience in the development of onshore utility scale renewable energy projects in Australia
• Development and optimisation understanding of project technical design and technical parameters
• Experience in management and oversight of activities to achieve development approval and permits including management of third-party environment/planning advisers right through to early works and planning activities prior to financial close
• Experience developing project technical documentation and technical schedules for project execution and operations & maintenance
• Proven ability to lead project reporting and development schedules, preparation and management of development budgets and cost tracking for all development activities
• Development expertise for a range of project tendering processes, and assessment of new development projects and opportunities to pursue in the project development pipeline
• Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including local communities, landholders and Traditional Owners
• A degree (or equivalent) in an environmental, engineering, planning or science or business-based subject with excellent project management skills
