Aula Energy is building a portfolio of solar, wind and battery assets that will power the clean energy future.

As our portfolio grows, we are looking for an Analyst to help evaluate new investment opportunities, execute transactions and drive value across our existing assets.

This is a broad, commercially connected investment role with exposure across the full asset lifecycle, from development and investment through financing, construction and operations. You will combine financial modelling and valuation with commercial analysis and strategic thinking to help inform where we invest, how we structure opportunities and how we optimise portfolio value.

Working across Development, Delivery, Asset Management, Commercial, Finance and Technical teams, you will gain exposure to complex investment decisions and play an active role in Aula Energy's continued growth.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain robust financial models for renewable energy projects across development, construction and operations.

• Undertake valuation, scenario and sensitivity analysis to inform investment, financing and asset management decisions.

• Evaluate new investment and growth opportunities through financial, commercial, strategic and market analysis.

• Support transaction execution, including commercial, financial, technical and legal due diligence.

• Contribute to equity and debt financing activities, including funding analysis, lender due diligence and financing processes.

• Analyse portfolio and asset performance, identifying insights and opportunities to support long-term value creation.

• Support portfolio and corporate valuation, forecasting and performance monitoring.

• Prepare clear, decision-useful analysis for investment committee papers, Board reporting and shareholder presentations.

• Work collaboratively across the business to bring together commercial, technical and financial inputs into investment analysis and recommendations.

• Leverage AI and digital tools to improve the speed, quality and rigour of modelling, analysis and reporting.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–5 years' relevant experience in renewable energy, energy or infrastructure investment, project finance, investment banking, institutional investment or a related field.

• Strong financial modelling and valuation capability, including experience building and working with discounted cash flow models.

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex financial and commercial data.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, coupled with sound commercial judgement.

• An ability to move beyond the numbers, identify the key drivers of value and translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to different audiences.

• High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

• A collaborative approach and confidence working across commercial, technical and functional teams.

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
